15th August 2019: RSM Partners were proud to present a cheque for £4243.15 to Tim Severn of the Regain Sports Charity for monies raised by RSM staff who took part in the Snowdonia Charity Challenge 2019.
Two teams from RSM Partners took part in the Challenge in June, which required participants to cycle 40 miles before climbing Mount Snowdon and then canoeing across Llyn Gwynant.
There were those who said they couldn't do it! But they triumphed on a day that had the worst weather possible. Even driving rain, 45-mile an hour winds and the cold didn't stop all eight finishing the tough course.
Congratulations and well done to team members: Dave Lea, Harvi Singh, Martin Knight, George Davies, Nick Davies, Mark Wilson, Steve Tresadern and Mark Banwell. And many thanks to the fantastic support team: Jennie Holpin, Meg Mills and Jenny Mills.
Also, a massive thank you to everyone who sponsored us. Our Just Giving page was one of the most successful in June. Out of a total of 53,365 RSM Partners was in the top 1%!
The photo shows the monies raised being presented to Tim Severn who came to our offices as a representative of Regain. Regain is the only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people who have become paralysed in a sporting accident. This fantastic charity helps people regain their independence and encourages them to get back into sport after their accident.
This October Tim is cycling 400km through Kenya on Regain's 2019 Cycle Challenge. If you would like to donate to this great cause, please visit Tim's Just Giving page here
