30th May 2019: RSM Partners founder and Technical Director, Mark Wilson, is to receive a SHARE Best of the Best Session award at SHARE Pittsburgh 2019 and deliver two mainframe technical sessions.
SHARE Pittsburgh 2019 takes place between August 4 - 9 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. It will include 500+ technical sessions and hands-on labs on enterprise IT hot topics such as Security, Mainframe Hardware, Cloud Technology in the Enterprise, Data Privacy, API Economy, Zowe and Open Source, and IBMZ.
Notably Mark's session at the last SHARE event in Phoenix "Mainframe Pentesting 101" has been selected to receive a SHARE Best of the Best Session award and will be recognized during the SHARE Pittsburgh General Session, taking place on Monday, August 5.
In addition, Mark will be delivering the following presentations at Pittsburgh:
Security and Compliance: "Mainframe Pentesting Part 101 & 102" - Tuesday August 6 at 11.15am - Mark will describe what a mainframe pentest looks like and will investigate some of the skills and techniques required; what 'footprinting' means; and more.
MVS Core Technologies: "How to Tackle a JES3 to JES2 Migration and Still be Sane at the End of It" - Thursday August 8 at 2.15pm - In this session, Mark will cover the thought process and technical steps required to perform a JES3 to JES2 migration. Mark has performed many of these migrations and over 100 different other mainframe product migrations.
